Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents are Russian and a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. She can speak fluent German Russian English, French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India to an Indian father and a Russian father and an Indian mother, is proficient with both of the languages. She choreographed an 11-year old dance that resulted in an appearance on German TV appearance as a Russian Snow Maiden who transforms into a jovial Indian dancer. She graduated from high school within New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Then in NYC, she was studying acting at the HB Studio. Later on she moved to Groundlings School and took up various tasks. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father in Kabul, Afghanistan. Their parents split when she turned 13 years old old and she relocated from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in The Americans on FX. The Americans. Her most well-known role is the ex- KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans.
